About NioCorp Developments

NioCorp Developments (NASDAQ:NB) (NASDAQ:NB) is a development-stage critical minerals company focused on advancing the Elk Creek Project in southeastern Nebraska. The company is evaluating the development of a domestic source of niobium, scandium and titanium, along with certain rare earth elements, including neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium.

The proposed Elk Creek operation is designed to process mineralized material into products that could support industries such as transportation, aerospace, defense, electronics and clean energy. Niobium can be used to strengthen steel and reduce vehicle weight, while scandium and titanium have applications in advanced alloys and other industrial products. The company has also studied the potential recovery of rare earth elements for use in permanent magnets and related technologies.

NioCorp’s principal project is located near Elk Creek in Johnson County, Nebraska, and the company has described it as one of the largest known undeveloped niobium deposits in North America. NioCorp Developments is incorporated in British Columbia and maintains corporate operations in Colorado. Mark A. Smith serves as the company’s chief executive officer and executive chairman. The company remains focused on permitting, financing, engineering and other steps required to advance the Elk Creek Project toward potential construction and production.
