The principal activities of the Company are oil and gas exploration, development and production in North Africa with oil and gas production in Egypt, gas production in Morocco, and exploration assets in Morocco and Tunisia. The Company's exploration permits include the Lalla Mimouna permit in the Rharb Basin onshore Morocco, the offshore Mahdia discovery in Tunisia, the Ras Marmour permit onshore Tunisia and the onshore Beni Khalled permit. The Al Amir and Geyad development leases cover approximately 80 square kilometers and are located over 300 kilometers south of Cairo. The Lalla Mimouna Nord and Lalla Mimouna Sud cover an area of approximately 2,210 square kilometers. The Sebou Permit covers approximately 130 square kilometers. The Ras Marmour Permit covers over 1,560 square kilometers, and is located in the south-east of Tunisia. The Mahdia Permit covers an area of over 3,020 square kilometers.
