CHS Inc. (NASDAQ: CHSCP) is a global agribusiness cooperative owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States. The company operates through two primary segments: energy and agriculture. In its energy segment, CHS markets refined fuels, lubricants, propane and renewable energy products under the Cenex® brand and supplies wholesale fuel to a network of branded and unbranded retail sites. Its agriculture segment provides grain marketing, oilseed processing, crop nutrients, agronomy services and risk management solutions to producers in North America and key global markets.

The company’s product portfolio spans a wide range of offerings designed to support food and energy supply chains. CHS processes and merchandises corn, soybeans and wheat; manufactures and distributes an array of crop protection products and fertilizers; and offers precision agriculture and digital farm management tools to enhance productivity. On the energy side, CHS distributes fuels to commercial, industrial and retail customers, operates travel centers and convenience retail outlets, and invests in renewable fuels such as biodiesel and ethanol.

CHS traces its roots to 1931 with the formation of the Farmers Union Central Exchange, later known as Cenex. In 1998, Cenex merged with Harvest States Cooperatives to form CHS Inc., creating one of the industry’s only full-service, farmer-owned agribusinesses. Headquartered in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, the cooperative maintains facilities and partnerships across the United States and in more than 70 countries, supporting both domestic and international agricultural and energy needs.

Under the leadership of President and CEO Jay Debertin, CHS is governed by a board composed of elected representatives from its member cooperatives. The company continues to focus on strengthening supply chains, advancing sustainable and renewable energy initiatives, and delivering value-added products and services that meet the evolving needs of its diverse membership base.
