Corus Entertainment was established in 1999 through the spinout of media assets from Shaw Communications. In addition to its broadcast and production operations, the company has developed digital products and advertising solutions designed to support its television, radio and online brands. Its principal geographic focus remains Canada, although its content and production businesses have an international reach through distribution, licensing and partnerships.
