A.P. Moller-Maersk (OTCMKTS:AMKBY) A/S is a Danish integrated logistics and transportation company that provides services across global supply chains. Its activities include container shipping, port and terminal operations, logistics, freight forwarding, customs services, warehousing and distribution. Through its ocean business, Maersk transports manufactured goods, commodities and other cargo between major markets worldwide.

The company also provides end-to-end supply chain solutions, including air and ocean freight, inland transportation, contract logistics and digital supply chain management services. Its terminal operations are conducted primarily through APM Terminals, which operates and manages port facilities in multiple regions. Maersk serves customers across manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, automotive, energy and other industries.

Founded in 1904 by Danish shipping entrepreneur Arnold Peter Møller, the company developed from a Danish shipping business into a global logistics group. Maersk is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, and operates across major trade routes and logistics hubs in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Vincent Clerc has served as the company’s chief executive officer since 2023.
