Elanco Animal Health (NYSE:ELAN) is a global animal health company that develops, manufactures and markets products for pets and food-producing animals. Its portfolio includes veterinary pharmaceuticals, vaccines, parasiticides, nutritional products and other solutions designed to prevent and treat disease, improve animal well-being and support livestock productivity.
For companion animals, Elanco offers products addressing pain, osteoarthritis, dermatological conditions, infectious diseases and flea, tick and intestinal parasite control. Elanco traces its origins to Eli Lilly and Company’s animal health business, which began in the 1950s. The company became an independent publicly traded business in 2018 following its separation from Eli Lilly and expanded its portfolio through the acquisition of Bayer’s Animal Health business in 2020. Elanco serves customers through operations and commercial relationships across numerous international markets, with headquarters in Greenfield, Indiana.
