Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: PAC) is a Mexican airport infrastructure company that operates, maintains and develops airports serving commercial aviation, business travel and tourism markets. Its activities include airport management, passenger and airline services, terminal operations, airfield maintenance, security coordination and the development of commercial facilities such as parking areas, retail outlets, restaurants and other passenger amenities.
The company operates a portfolio of 12 airports in Mexico, including those serving Guadalajara, Tijuana, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, Guanajuato, Hermosillo, La Paz, Mexicali, Aguascalientes, Morelia and Manzanillo. These airports connect major Mexican cities and resort destinations with domestic and international markets, particularly in the western and northwestern regions of the country.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico also operates airports in Jamaica, including Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston. The company’s Mexican airport concessions originated in the late 1990s as part of Mexico’s airport privatization program. In addition to aeronautical services, the company generates business through airport-related commercial activities and other non-aeronautical services.
