About Antero Resources

Antero Resources (NYSE:AR) (NYSE: AR) is an independent oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development and production of unconventional resources. The company’s operations are focused primarily on the Appalachian Basin, where it produces natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs) and crude oil.

Antero’s asset base is concentrated in the Marcellus and Utica shale formations in West Virginia and Ohio. Its products include pipeline-quality natural gas as well as NGLs such as ethane, propane, butane and natural gasoline. The company sells its production to utilities, industrial customers, marketers and other energy businesses through regional and interstate transportation networks.

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Antero Resources became a publicly traded company in 2013. Paul Rady, a co-founder of the company, serves as chairman and chief executive officer. Antero also has a significant operating relationship with Antero Midstream, which provides gathering and related midstream services supporting its Appalachian production.
