About Canadian Pacific Kansas City

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (NYSE:CP) (NYSE:CP) is a North American transportation company that operates a single-line railway linking Canada, the United States and Mexico. Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, the company provides freight transportation and supply-chain services for customers across its extensive rail network.

CPKC transports a diverse range of products, including grain and fertilizers, coal, forest and industrial products, energy-related materials, automotive shipments, merchandise and intermodal freight. Its services support industries such as agriculture, manufacturing, automotive production, construction and consumer goods, while its cross-border network facilitates trade among the three countries.

The company was created in 2023 through the combination of Canadian Pacific Railway and Kansas City Southern. Canadian Pacific traces its origins to the construction of Canada's transcontinental railway in the 19th century, while Kansas City Southern developed a rail network connecting the central United States with Mexico. CPKC is led by President and Chief Executive Officer Keith Creel, who previously served as chief executive of Canadian Pacific Railway.
