About Lumen Technologies

Lumen Technologies (NYSE:LUMN) is a telecommunications and technology company that provides connectivity, networking, cloud, security and communications services to businesses, government organizations and other customers. Its offerings include fiber-based internet access, wide-area networking, software-defined networking, managed network services, cybersecurity, voice and unified communications, and data center and edge-computing solutions.

The company also serves residential customers in selected U.S. markets through its Quantum Fiber brand, which provides high-speed fiber internet and related services. Lumen operates a large fiber network and offers infrastructure and digital solutions designed to connect offices, data centers, cloud providers and other locations.

Lumen traces its history to CenturyLink, which acquired Qwest Communications in 2011 and Level 3 Communications in 2017. CenturyLink adopted the Lumen name in 2020 to reflect its broader focus on digital networking and technology services. The company primarily serves customers in the United States and maintains international network capabilities for enterprise and wholesale customers.
