About Sunoco

Sunoco (NYSE:SUN) is a publicly traded master limited partnership that distributes and markets motor fuel in the United States. The company supplies gasoline, diesel, and other refined products to independent dealers, commercial customers, distributors, and convenience-store operators. It also supports fuel sales through the Sunoco brand, which is licensed to retail locations operated by third parties.

In addition to fuel distribution, Sunoco owns and operates a network of refined-product terminals and pipelines used to receive, store, transport, and deliver motor fuels and other petroleum products. Its logistics operations connect refineries and fuel suppliers with wholesale and retail markets, helping customers manage fuel supply across multiple regions.

The company traces its heritage to Sun Company, which was established in 1886. Sunoco has since transitioned from a vertically integrated oil company with company-operated retail stations into a primarily wholesale fuel distribution and energy infrastructure business. Its operations are concentrated in the United States, with assets and customer relationships serving markets across much of the country. Sunoco is led by Chief Executive Officer Joseph Kim.
