Seres Therapeutics Earnings Headlines

Anthropic’s $40 million midterm move
Anthropic, creator of Claude, has committed $40 million to Public First Action, a nonpartisan group advocating AI safeguards, American leadership, and transparency ahead of the midterms. Alexander Green, Chief Investment Strategist of The Oxford Club, says the move signals Anthropic's shift from a technical story to a political and financial force, especially as IPO talk builds. A publicly accessible vehicle lists Anthropic as its largest holding, alongside Databricks and Anduril, and can be purchased through an ordinary brokerage account.tc pixel

About Seres Therapeutics

Seres Therapeutics (NASDAQ:MCRB) is a biotechnology company focused on developing live biotherapeutics designed to restore and maintain the function of the human microbiome. Its research has centered on therapeutic products made from defined mixtures of microorganisms, rather than conventional broad-spectrum antibiotics or nonselective fecal material.

The company’s leading product is VOWST, an orally administered microbiota-based therapy approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for preventing the recurrence of Clostridioides difficile infection in adults following antibacterial treatment for recurrent infection. VOWST was developed to help reestablish a healthy intestinal microbiome and represented one of the first microbiome-based prescription products to receive FDA approval.

Seres was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The company developed its products primarily for the U.S. market and worked with Nestlé Health Science on the commercialization of VOWST. Seres was led for much of its operating history by Eric Shaff, who served as president and chief executive officer. The company subsequently transferred its VOWST-related business to Nestlé Health Science and reduced its operations, reflecting a shift away from commercial activities toward a more limited corporate structure.
