UBS Group (NYSE:UBS) is a Switzerland-based global financial services company serving individuals, businesses, institutional investors and governments. Its principal businesses include wealth management, personal and corporate banking, asset management and investment banking.
Through its Global Wealth Management business, UBS provides investment advice, portfolio management, financial planning, lending and other services to private and institutional clients. Its Personal and Corporate Banking operations offer deposit, lending, payment and other banking services, primarily in Switzerland. UBS Asset Management provides investment solutions across public and private markets, while its Investment Bank offers advisory, capital-markets, equities, fixed-income and foreign-exchange services.
UBS serves clients in major financial centers across Switzerland, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. The modern UBS was created through the 1998 merger of Union Bank of Switzerland and Swiss Bank Corporation. In 2023, UBS acquired Credit Suisse, expanding its operations and client base while undertaking a multiyear integration of the two organizations.
UBS Group AG is led by Chairman Colm Kelleher and Group Chief Executive Officer Sergio P. Ermotti. Its shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol UBS and are also listed in Switzerland.
