About Tecogen

Tecogen (NYSEAMERICAN:TGEN) is a developer and manufacturer of commercial and industrial distributed energy equipment that uses natural gas-fueled internal combustion engine technology to produce heat and power. The company's product suite centers on combined heat and power (CHP) systems that recover waste heat from on-site power generation to provide space and water heating and, in some configurations, cooling. Tecogen's offerings are designed to improve on-site energy efficiency while reducing operating costs and emissions relative to separate purchases of electricity and fuel.

In addition to CHP units, Tecogen provides auxiliary equipment and services that support distributed generation installations, including heat recovery components, controls and monitoring systems, emissions reduction technologies, and aftermarket parts and maintenance. Its customers include commercial, industrial and institutional end-users such as hospitals, schools, multi-family buildings, manufacturing facilities and other large energy consumers that benefit from resilient on-site power and thermal energy. Tecogen primarily serves the United States market while also pursuing deployments and partnerships in international markets.

As a public company traded on the NYSE American under the ticker TGEN, Tecogen positions itself around energy cost savings, reliability and lower emissions for facilities seeking alternatives to centralized utility supply. The company emphasizes product durability, ongoing service support and technology upgrades to maximize lifecycle value for customers. Tecogen also engages in product development and innovation aimed at improving efficiency and meeting tightening emissions and performance standards for distributed energy systems.
