About Alphabet

Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is a technology and holding company founded in 2015 through a restructuring of Google. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, California, and operates globally, serving consumers, businesses, advertisers and developers across numerous countries and regions.

Alphabet’s largest business is Google Services, which includes Google Search, online advertising, YouTube, Android, Chrome, Google Maps, Google Play and hardware products such as Pixel devices. These products support activities including internet search, digital content distribution, mobile computing, online communications and advertising. Google also provides subscription-based offerings and artificial intelligence tools through products such as Google One and Google Workspace.

Alphabet also operates “Other Bets,” a group of businesses focused on developing technologies in areas such as autonomous transportation, health sciences and other emerging industries. Sundar Pichai serves as Alphabet’s chief executive officer and also leads Google; the company was established under the leadership of Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
