About DiDi Global

DiDi Global (OTCMKTS:DIDIY) is a mobility technology company that operates a digital platform connecting passengers with transportation providers. Its services include ride-hailing, taxi bookings, private-car and chauffeur services, and other on-demand transportation options. The company also offers services related to bike and electric-bike sharing, intercity travel, freight, and vehicle and driver support in selected markets.

Founded in China in 2012 as Xiaoju Kuaizhi, DiDi expanded through acquisitions and partnerships to become one of the country’s major ride-hailing platforms. Its China operations serve consumers and drivers across numerous cities, while its international business has extended to markets in Latin America, Asia-Pacific and other regions. Service availability and product offerings vary by geography.

DiDi has also developed technology and services intended to support transportation providers, including navigation, safety systems, fleet solutions and vehicle-related services. The company is associated with co-founder and longtime executive Will Wei Cheng, who has served as its chief executive officer. DiDi’s American depositary shares were listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021 and later removed from that exchange as the company shifted its U.S. trading arrangements.
