Dyne’s development programs include DYNE-101, an investigational therapy for myotonic dystrophy type 1, and DYNE-251, an investigational exon-skipping therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy in patients amenable to exon 51 skipping. The company has also pursued additional programs for rare muscle diseases, including Pompe disease. These candidates remain subject to clinical testing and regulatory review.

Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, Dyne conducts research and clinical-development activities in the United States and through international trial networks. The company has been led by Chief Executive Officer John Cox, who joined Dyne after serving in senior leadership roles in the biotechnology industry.
