About BJ's Restaurants

BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. is a publicly traded casual dining chain known for its deep‐dish pizzas, California‐style thin crust offerings and in‐house craft beer selections. Operating under the BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse brand, the company combines a microbrewery concept with full‐service dining, offering an extensive menu that includes appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, sandwiches and the signature Pizookie dessert.

Founded in 1978 in Orange County, California, BJ’s Restaurants began as BJ’s Chicago Pizzeria, bringing a Chicago‐style pizza experience to the West Coast. In the mid‐1990s, the company introduced an on‐site brewing operation, expanding its appeal to craft beer enthusiasts. Over the ensuing decades, BJ’s Restaurants grew steadily through a mix of company‐owned and franchised locations, eventually reaching more than 200 restaurants across nearly 30 states.

Today, each BJ’s location features a proprietary brewing system, producing a rotating lineup of ales, lagers and seasonal brews. The dining rooms are designed to cater to families, sports fans and social diners, with televisions for live sports and a bar area for craft beer sampling. The menu’s diversity, from deep‐dish and thin‐crust pizza to burgers, ribs and salads, positions BJ’s to compete effectively in the casual dining segment.

Headquartered in Santa Ana, California, BJ’s Restaurants is led by President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Levin, who has overseen the company’s expansion and operational enhancements since his appointment in 2019. Under his leadership, BJ’s continues to focus on menu innovation, guest experience and disciplined unit growth across key U.S. markets.
