About REX American Resources

REX American Resources (NYSE:REX) Corp. is a diversified agribusiness and renewable energy company headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Founded in 2005 through a reorganization of existing agricultural interests, the company focuses on two primary business segments: fuel ethanol production and specialty ingredient solutions. REX American Resources leverages its integrated operations to supply clean-burning fuel, animal feed co-products and sweetener ingredients to a broad customer base in North America and beyond.

In its alcohol fuels segment, the company operates an anhydrous ethanol production facility in Colwich, Kansas. The plant processes locally sourced corn into fuel-grade ethanol, contributing to domestic renewable energy mandates. By-products of the production process, including distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and co-generated carbon dioxide, are marketed into livestock feed and industrial gas markets. This vertically integrated approach allows REX American Resources to capture added value from every stage of production.

The ingredients segment supplies a range of sweetener and specialty food ingredients to the global food and beverage industry. Through partnerships and long-term supply agreements in Central America, the company sources raw and refined sugars, dextrose and other syrups. These products are distributed to manufacturers of confectionery, bakery and beverage goods seeking consistent quality and traceability. REX American Resources also maintains relationships with freight and logistics providers to support export opportunities across key markets.

Under the leadership of Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Alan J. Troester, REX American Resources emphasizes sustainability, operational efficiency and strategic growth. The company’s integrated structure and geographic diversification help mitigate commodity price fluctuations and regulatory risks. With continued investments in production capabilities and supply chain optimization, REX American Resources aims to maintain its position as a reliable supplier of renewable fuels and food-grade ingredients.
