Its technologies are used by defense, government and security customers.

Founded in 1971 by aerospace engineer Paul B. MacCready Jr., AeroVironment is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, and serves customers in the United States and international markets. Wahid Nawabi serves as the company’s president and chief executive officer.
