American Tower Corporation (NYSE: AMT) is a global real estate investment trust that owns, operates and develops communications infrastructure. Its portfolio includes wireless and broadcast towers, rooftop sites, distributed antenna systems and other facilities that support wireless communications, television and radio broadcasting, government communications and other connectivity services.

The company leases space on its communications sites to wireless carriers, broadcasters, government agencies and other customers. American Tower also provides connectivity and interconnection services through its data center business, including facilities and infrastructure operated through CoreSite, which it acquired in 2021.

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, American Tower serves customers across the United States and in selected markets in Latin America, Europe and Africa. Steven O. Vondran has served as the company’s president and chief executive officer since 2024.
