Venture Global’s principal operations are located along the U.S. Gulf Coast in Louisiana. Its Calcasieu Pass LNG facility began producing LNG in 2022, and the company is also developing the Plaquemines LNG facility near Port Sulphur, Louisiana. Additional development projects include CP2 LNG and Delta LNG, which are intended to expand the company’s export capacity.

The company supplies LNG to customers in global markets, including utilities, industrial users and energy companies. Venture Global was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. Its leadership has included co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Mike Sabel, who has overseen the company’s development and expansion as a major U.S. LNG exporter.
