Through its refining operations, CVR Energy processes crude oil into transportation fuels and other refined products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and asphalt. Its refineries are located in Coffeyville, Kansas, and Wynnewood, Oklahoma, and are supported by related logistics, storage and transportation assets.

CVR Energy also owns and operates nitrogen fertilizer facilities through CVR Partners, LP. These facilities produce ammonia and urea ammonium nitrate fertilizer, which are sold primarily to agricultural customers. The company’s fertilizer operations include facilities in Coffeyville, Kansas, and East Dubuque, Illinois.

CVR Energy traces its operating history to the Coffeyville Resources refining and fertilizer businesses and became part of Icahn Enterprises’ portfolio in 2012. David Lamp has served as the company’s president and chief executive officer.
