What are analysts saying about Tyson Foods stock?
Here are some recent quotes from research analysts about Tyson Foods stock:
According to Zacks Investment Research, "Tyson Foods is likely to stay on track to growth in 2017, with its consistent product innovation, brand enhancing activities and its adaptive ability to cater to the changing demand of consumers. Tyson made a promising start to fiscal 2017 wherein both earnings and sales beat estimates in the first quarter fiscal 2017, driven by the strong performance of its Core 9 categories and foodservice top-tier offerings which continue to outperform the industry in a recently held investor conference. Its venture into non-meat substitutes as per the changing demand of consumers is commendable. The company’s shares have, however underperformed the Zacks categorized Food-Meat Products industry in the past six months. Lower sales in chicken, beef and pork segment are limiting top line growth of the company. Moreover, the company’s exports have been suffering in the past few quarters primarily due to macroeconomic headwinds in Asian countries." (2/8/2017)
