Acciona traces its origins to the Entrecanales y Távora construction company and adopted the Acciona name in 1997 following the merger of Entrecanales y Távora with Cubiertas y MZOV. The group serves public- and private-sector customers across Europe, the Americas, Australia, Asia and other international markets. José Manuel Entrecanales serves as chairman and chief executive officer.
