Novozymes A/S was a Danish biotechnology company that developed and commercialized enzymes, microorganisms and other biological solutions for industrial and consumer applications. The company supplied biological products and related solutions to a range of industries, including food and beverages, household care, agriculture, animal health, bioenergy and industrial manufacturing. Its portfolio included enzymes used in areas such as baking, brewing, dairy production, detergents, textiles, biofuels and technical processing, as well as microbial products for agricultural and other biological applications.

Novozymes was established in 2000 through the demerger of the enzyme activities of Novo Nordisk and was headquartered in Bagsværd, Denmark. It served customers internationally through research, production and commercial operations across multiple regions. In January 2024, Novozymes combined with Chr. Hansen Holding A/S to form Novonesis, a biosolutions company. As a result, Novozymes is primarily of historical interest as a separately listed company, and its former operations are now part of Novonesis.
