Coniagas Battery Metals Inc. recently discovered a major high-grade nickel-copper deposit with cobalt, platinum and palladium byproduct near Saguenay in Northern Quebec. The deposit stretches along a 6 km strike length of shallow mineralization suitable for an open-pit mine. It also sits on top of a very large and deep gravity anomaly with the potential for much more and higher-grade mineralization deeper. Geologists believe the deposit has the potential to be a major mine supplying critical metals for the energy transition.
