About Archrock

Archrock (NYSE:AROC) (NYSE: AROC) is a Houston-based provider of natural gas compression services and equipment. The company supports the production, gathering, processing, transportation and storage of natural gas by supplying compression infrastructure that helps maintain pressure and move gas through energy systems.

Archrock’s principal business is contract compression, in which it owns and operates a fleet of natural gas compressors and provides them to customers under service agreements. Its offerings also include compressor fabrication, maintenance, field services, parts and other aftermarket support for compression equipment. The company serves producers, midstream operators, pipeline companies and other participants in the natural gas industry.

Archrock primarily operates in the United States and has historically expanded through acquisitions and the development of its compression fleet. The company became an independent publicly traded business in 2015 following the separation of Exterran Corporation’s North American compression business. Its operations are focused on providing essential infrastructure services across major U.S. oil and gas producing regions.
