About Canadian National Railway

Canadian National Railway (NYSE:CNI) (NYSE:CNI) is a transportation and logistics company that operates a major freight rail network in Canada and the United States. Its network connects the Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf coasts, serving ports, industrial centers, agricultural regions and major population markets.

CN transports a broad range of commodities and manufactured goods, including forest products, grain and fertilizers, coal, metals and minerals, petroleum and chemicals, automotive products, and consumer goods. The company also provides intermodal transportation services, combining rail with trucking and other modes to move containers and trailers, as well as logistics and supply-chain solutions for customers.

CN was created in 1919 through the consolidation of several Canadian railways and has expanded into an integrated North American transportation company. Tracy Robinson has served as CN’s president and chief executive officer since 2022. The company is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec.
