About Under Armour

Under Armour (NYSE:UAA) is a performance apparel, footwear and accessories company headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank, the company developed an early reputation for moisture-wicking athletic apparel designed to help athletes stay cool, dry and comfortable during training and competition.

Under Armour offers products for a broad range of sports and activities, including running, training, basketball, golf and outdoor recreation. Its portfolio includes athletic shirts, shorts, leggings, outerwear, footwear, bags and other accessories, sold under the Under Armour brand as well as select product lines associated with athletes and sports partnerships, including the Curry Brand basketball business.

The company sells its products through wholesale partners, its own brand and factory stores, and digital commerce channels. Under Armour serves customers in North America and international markets, including regions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. Kevin Plank returned to the company’s leadership as chief executive officer in 2024.
