Top Telecom Stocks To Keep An Eye On - June 22nd
Big Oil knew about this for 50 years
In the 1970s, Chevron, Unocal, and Texaco all drilled the same energy source - and walked away to protect oil profits. One company spent sixty years quietly proving them wrong. Now Google has signed a 15-year contract, Bill Gates has committed $100 million, and a July 4th government decision could hand this sector its biggest catalyst yet. The oil majors are scrambling back in, but one company already owns the entire chain.tc pixel

About AT&T

AT&T (NYSE:T) is a global telecommunications company that provides a broad range of communications and digital entertainment services. Its core activities include consumer and business wireless services, broadband and fiber internet, and network infrastructure. The company operates branded wireless services through AT&T Mobility and deploys fixed-line and fiber networks to deliver high-speed internet and related home services.

AT&T's product and service portfolio spans mobile voice and data plans, smartphones and device sales, home internet (including fiber-to-the-home where available), and managed connectivity solutions for enterprise customers. Through its business unit, AT&T supplies networking, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity, IoT and other managed services to corporate and wholesale clients, alongside wholesale transport and peering services for other carriers.

The company traces its roots to the original Bell telephone operations in the 19th century and long-standing development of U.S. communications infrastructure. In recent years AT&T expanded into media through the acquisition of Time Warner in 2018, and subsequently refocused on its core connectivity business by separating its major media assets through a 2022 transaction that created a standalone media company. These strategic moves reflect AT&T’s shifting emphasis between content ownership and network investment.

AT&T primarily serves customers in the United States across both consumer and business segments, while supporting multinational customers with global networking needs. The company has invested heavily in modernizing its network, including nationwide 5G deployment and fiber expansion. John Stankey serves as chief executive officer, leading efforts to streamline operations, invest in network capabilities and position the company for ongoing demand for high-speed connectivity and enterprise services.
