About American Airlines Group

American Airlines Group (NASDAQ:AAL) is a leading global airline holding company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Formed in December 2013 through the merger of AMR Corporation (parent of American Airlines) and US Airways Group, the company operates one of the world’s largest passenger and cargo networks. Its subsidiaries include American Airlines, which provides mainline service, and American Eagle, a network of regional carriers operating short- and medium-haul routes on behalf of the mainline carrier.

The company offers scheduled air transportation for passengers and cargo to more than 350 destinations in over 50 countries. American Airlines Group maintains a hub-and-spoke route system, with major hubs at Dallas/Fort Worth, Charlotte, Chicago O’Hare, Miami and Phoenix. Its fleet consists of a mix of narrow-body and wide-body aircraft from manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus, supplemented by regional jets operated under the American Eagle banner.

As a founding member of the oneworld alliance, American Airlines Group collaborates with several international carriers to extend its global reach, offering coordinated schedules, joint frequent-flyer benefits and shared airport facilities. In addition to passenger services, the company provides cargo operations for freight and mail, leveraging its belly capacity on passenger flights as well as dedicated freighter aircraft.

Under the leadership of President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Isom, American Airlines Group continues to invest in fleet modernization, customer experience enhancements and operational efficiency. The company traces its roots back to 1926, evolving through decades of route expansions, technological innovations and industry consolidation to become a cornerstone of the North American and global aviation markets.
