About Honeywell International

Honeywell International (NASDAQ:HON) is a diversified, publicly traded multinational conglomerate (NASDAQ: HON) that designs and manufactures a wide range of commercial and consumer products, engineering services and aerospace systems. The company operates through major business platforms that historically include Aerospace; Building Technologies; Performance Materials and Technologies; and Safety and Productivity Solutions. Its portfolio spans avionics and propulsion systems, building controls and HVAC equipment, process technologies and advanced materials, industrial automation software, and personal protective equipment and scanning solutions.

Honeywell’s aerospace business supplies aircraft manufacturers and operators with engines and auxiliary power units, avionics, flight safety systems and aftermarket services. Building Technologies provides control systems, fire and security solutions and energy management for commercial and residential properties. Performance Materials and Technologies delivers catalysts, specialty chemicals and process technologies for refining and petrochemical customers, while Safety and Productivity Solutions offers mobile computers, barcode scanners, software and safety gear aimed at logistics, manufacturing and field-service operations.

The company traces its roots to the Honeywell Heating Specialty Company founded by Mark C. Honeywell in 1906 and evolved through a series of expansions and mergers; notably, AlliedSignal acquired Honeywell in 1999 and adopted the Honeywell name. Honeywell is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and maintains a global footprint with operations and customers across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. Its offerings increasingly combine hardware with software and analytics, including enterprise applications such as Honeywell Forge for industrial performance management.

Honeywell is led by a management team responsible for its strategic direction and day-to-day operations; as of mid‑2024 the company is led by CEO Darius Adamczyk. Honeywell’s diversified mix of products and services positions it to serve customers across aerospace, industrial, commercial and safety markets worldwide, with ongoing emphasis on digital transformation, sustainability and operational efficiency.
