About Textron

Textron (NYSE:TXT) is a global, multi-industry manufacturing company headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island. The company designs, manufactures and services a diverse range of products for the aerospace, defense and industrial markets. Textron operates through four primary business segments—Textron Aviation, Bell, Textron Systems and Industrial—each of which serves customers around the world.

Textron Aviation is known for its Cessna and Beechcraft branded business jets and turboprop aircraft, offering models that range from light jets and turboprops to larger cabin aircraft designed for corporate and charter use. Bell develops and manufactures commercial and military rotorcraft, including advanced tiltrotor aircraft and helicopters for rescue, law enforcement, and utility applications. Both segments provide global customer support networks for maintenance, parts and pilot training.

Textron Systems supplies a broad array of defense products and services, such as unmanned systems, advanced marine craft, precision weaponry and intelligence solutions for government and military customers. The Industrial segment encompasses a variety of ground-support vehicles and specialized equipment, including utility and personnel carriers under brands like E-Z-GO and Arctic Cat. In addition, the company produces fuel systems and custom-engineered components for original equipment manufacturers.

Founded in 1923 as Special Yarns Company, Textron expanded steadily through strategic acquisitions and internal product development, evolving from a synthetic yarn manufacturer into a diversified industrial enterprise. Today the company serves commercial, defense and industrial clients in North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Under the leadership of President and Chief Executive Officer Scott C. Donnelly, Textron continues to invest in innovation, manufacturing excellence and global service capabilities.
