About Apollo Global Management

Apollo Global Management (NYSE:APO), Inc. (NYSE: APO) is a global alternative investment manager that specializes in private equity, credit and real assets. The firm originates, invests in and manages a broad set of strategies across distressed and opportunistic credit, direct lending, structured credit, buyouts and real estate. Apollo provides investment management and advisory services to institutional clients and individual investors through pooled funds, separate accounts and publicly listed investment vehicles.

Its private equity business pursues control and non-control investments across industries, often focusing on complex or distressed situations where operational improvement and capital solutions can create value. Apollo’s credit platform includes strategies spanning corporate credit, specialty finance, structured products and opportunistic credit, while its real assets activities cover commercial real estate and infrastructure investments. The firm also develops customized financing arrangements and risk-transfer solutions for insurance companies and other large institutional counterparties.

Founded in 1990 by Leon Black, Joshua Harris and Marc Rowan, Apollo completed its initial public offering in 2011 and has grown into a diversified global manager with offices and investment teams serving clients across North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Its client base includes pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, family offices and retail investors through listed funds.

Management has emphasized a multi-strategy, cycle-aware approach that combines fundamental credit analysis, active portfolio management and opportunistic capital deployment. Marc Rowan, a co‑founder, has served in senior leadership of the firm. Apollo’s scale and product breadth are intended to allow flexible capital allocation across market environments and asset classes to meet varied investor objectives.
