The segment also produces carbon black for rubber reinforcement and chemical specialties for pharmaceutical, personal care and agricultural markets.

The Railroad Products & Services segment provides pressure‐treated railroad crossties, utility poles, switch ties and foundation piling, along with track material disposal and ballast cleaning services. Leveraging a network of wood treatment plants and field service operations, Koppers supports railroads, utilities, municipalities and industrial customers in maintaining safe and durable transportation and energy infrastructure.
