AerCap Holdings N.V. is a global aviation leasing company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. The company provides aircraft leasing and aviation finance services to airlines and other aviation customers worldwide, helping them access commercial aircraft and related equipment without owning the assets outright.

AerCap’s business includes the leasing, purchase, sale and financing of commercial passenger aircraft, cargo aircraft, engines and helicopters. It also provides asset management and fleet planning services, and supports customers through aircraft transitions, remarketing, maintenance coordination and other lifecycle activities.

The company serves airlines across major aviation markets, including North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. AerCap was formed through the growth of several aviation finance businesses, including its acquisition of International Lease Finance Corporation in 2014 and the aircraft leasing business of General Electric, known as GE Capital Aviation Services, in 2021. AerCap is led by Chief Executive Officer Aengus Kelly.
