What are analysts saying about Kinross Gold Corporation stock?
Here are some recent quotes from research analysts about Kinross Gold Corporation stock:
According to Zacks Investment Research, "Estimates for Kinross have been going down lately. The company has also underperformed the Zacks categorized Mining-Gold industry over the past six months. Kinross remains exposed to a sluggish global economy and volatility of gold prices. Prospects of a more-hawkish stance from the U.S. Federal Reserve in 2017 is weighing on gold prices. The company also needs to improve its reserve base significantly for future growth. " (2/9/2017)
Jefferies Group LLC analysts commented, "KGC’s shares are up 203% YTD (vs S&P500 up 2%). Strength in the gold price and the company’s decision to proceed with Phase 1 of the Tasiast expansion have clearly helped. While Kinross has high leverage to the gold price, the company has short reserve life assets, limited growth, and high geopolitical risk, especially relative to other gold majors." (5/11/2016)
