What are analysts saying about Marcus Corporation (The) stock?
Here are some recent quotes from research analysts about Marcus Corporation (The) stock:
- B. Riley analysts commented, "Marcus Corporation (MCS) reported upside Q4 results that were driven by continued Theater division outperformance (even against difficult comps) that helped to offset some comparative weakness in the Hotel/Resort division. Looking forward to 2017, we continue to believe MCS is well positioned to benefit from the impressive film slate as the theater enhancement continues on both legacy MCS locations and the recently-acquired Wehrenberg Theatres chain (that increased the company's screen base by 29%). Furthermore, we could see another 1031 tax strategy transaction in the coming months that, we believe, should boost the underlying value of the yet-to-be monetized hotel assets. We are reiterating our Buy rating, increasing our 2017/2018 estimates for the Wehrenberg acquisition as well as raising our price target from $36.50 to $39.00 (unchanged multiples for each division on increased estimates)."
