Alcoa Earnings Headlines

Musk says UBI is coming. I say it's already here.
Elon Musk says AI could make money irrelevant by 2036. One income program already exists today, funded not by robots but by America's oil and gas infrastructure. It's called the Patriot Income Plan, or P.I.P., and it pays 10% a year across 42 separate distribution dates. This year it's on track to pay out a record 53 billion dollars. Think of it as a personal stake in the world's largest energy producer, structured to deliver income on a regular schedule.tc pixel

About Alcoa

Alcoa (NYSE:AA) Corporation (NYSE:AA) is a global producer of bauxite, alumina and aluminum. Its operations span the aluminum value chain, including bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminum smelting, casting and the production of select value-added aluminum products. The company serves customers in industries such as transportation, aerospace, construction, packaging, consumer products and energy.

Founded in 1888 as the Pittsburgh Reduction Company, Alcoa played a major role in developing the commercial aluminum industry and adopted the Alcoa name in 1907. In 2016, the company separated its upstream aluminum operations from its downstream engineered-products business, which became Arconic. Alcoa today is focused primarily on the production and refining activities associated with bauxite, alumina and primary aluminum.

Alcoa operates and serves customers internationally, with mining, refining, smelting and related facilities across regions including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Europe and the United States. The company also emphasizes operational efficiency, responsible resource development and lower-carbon aluminum production. William F. Oplinger serves as Alcoa’s president and chief executive officer.
