The company’s operations extend across North America, Europe, South America, Australia and other international markets. In addition to truck manufacturing, PACCAR operates a worldwide parts distribution network and offers financial services, including retail financing and leasing for trucks and related equipment. The company also develops connected-vehicle technologies and other services intended to support fleet efficiency and uptime.

PACCAR traces its history to 1905, when it was established as the Seattle Car Manufacturing Company. After expanding into transportation equipment and acquiring truck manufacturers including Kenworth and Peterbilt, the company adopted the PACCAR name in 1972. Preston Feight has served as PACCAR’s chief executive officer since 2019.
