  • 1. Drexel Hamilton analysts commented, "We maintain our Buy rating on HII and our PT of $265." (11/14/2018)
  • 2. According to Zacks Investment Research, "Huntington Ingalls, being the nation's largest military shipbuilder, the company has stable financials and regularly returns cash to shareholders. It delivered SSN 789 Indiana to the U.S. Navy at the end of the reported quarter, in line with its earlier announced expectation. The shipbuilding business outlook remains strong given the fiscal 2019 defense budget that got its final approval this June. The latest budget’s major war fighting investments include spending plans of $18.3 billion on Shipbuilding. No doubt, one of the prime beneficiaries of this new spending proposal will be Huntington Ingalls. However, Its exposure to debt, combined with the company’s ability to incur significant amounts of debt in the future, increases its vulnerability to adverse economic or industry conditions. The debt levels also expose it to the risk of higher interest rates. The company's shares underperformed its industry in last one year." (10/15/2018)
