Under normal market conditions, the Fund generally invests substantially all, but at least 95%, of its total assets in the securities consisting of the Index. In addition, the Fund may invest in cash and cash equivalents or money market instruments, such as repurchase agreements and money market funds (including money market funds advised by SSgA Funds Management, Inc. (SSgA FM). It invests in industries, such as food & staples retailing, household products, food products, tobacco, beverages and personal products. SSgA FM serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.
