The Index seeks to measure the performance of the Germany equity market. It is a capitalization-weighted index that aims to capture 85% of the (publicly available) total market capitalization. The Fund invests in sectors, such as consumer discretionary, financials, materials, industrials, healthcare, information technology, utilities, telecommunication services and consumer staples. BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA) serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.
