The Index seeks to measure the performance of the Malaysian equity market. It is a capitalization-weighted index that aims to capture 85% of the (publicly available) total market capitalization. The Fund invests in sectors, such as financials, industrials, consumer staples, consumer discretionary, telecommunication services, utilities, materials, energy and S-T securities. BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA) serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.
