Glimcher Realty Trust (GRT), is an integrated, self-administered and self-managed Maryland REIT which was formed on September 1, 1993 to continue the business of The Glimcher Company and its affiliates, of owning, leasing, acquiring, developing and operating a portfolio of retail properties consisting of regional and super regional malls, and community shopping centers. The Properties consist of open-air centers, enclosed regional malls, outlet centers and community shopping centers. In March 2014, Glimcher Realty Trust completed the acquisition of about 290,000 square feet of open-air, mixed-use properties in the Oklahoma City. The purchase includes three retail properties, Classen Curve, Nichols Hills Plaza and The Triangle at Classen Curve, as well as about 12 acres of additional land in the upscale northern Oklahoma City and Nichols Hills neighborhoods.
