Provident Energy Ltd. (PEL) owns and operates a natural gas liquids (NGL) midstream services and marketing business. The Company's midstream facilities are located in Western Canada and in the NGL markets in Eastern Canada and the United States. The business of PEL is to manage and administer the operating activities associated with the natural gas liquids midstream processing and marketing business held by Provident. Provident Midstream Holdings LP (PMHLP) directly and indirectly holds interests in the subsidiaries of PEL, including Provident Midstream LP (PMLP) and Provident Midstream Inc. (PMI). PMLP is a limited partnership registered in the Province of Alberta. PMHLP and PMI are the limited partners of PMLP with a 99.9% total interest in the partnership. In October 2011, the Company acquired 66% in Three Star Trucking Ltd. In April 2012, Pembina Pipeline Corporation acquired the Company.
