• Despite the new CEO and plan of action laid out by FSC we do not have much faith in the company to successfully execute on its initiatives. We had nothing against Mr. Owens and likewise have nothing against Mr. Dalton, but the genesis of value destruction at FSC is the external manager, which has used FSC as an asset gatherer for fee income rather than a true credit investor, as we see it. It took years of declining performance and staving off an activist investor for FSC to even modestly address the issues of fees and we do not think this is something the market will soon forget. Additionally, while we are happy the incentive fee will have a rolling three year look-back it will be from 1/1/17 and thus offers little consolation to shareholders who have paid untenable fees for poor performance in the past.
• We are revising our fiscal 2017 NII/share estimate from $0.74 to $0.54 and our fiscal 2018 NII/share estimate from $0.71 to $0.50.
